The Flash’s sixth season returns to The CW this week with its sixth episode, “License To Elongate”, and here’s how you can watch it online.
After one week off our screens, The Flash returns to The CW this Tuesday night. The long-running Arrowverse show had been airing its sixth season, but it took a brief hiatus last week.
With the highly-anticipated Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover nearly upon us, it’s hardly surprising that much of season 6 has been taken up with Team Flash’s reaction to it, as they attempt to ready themselves for what’s coming.
Faced with the realization that he is destined to die in the Crisis, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) has been quickly attempting to train his loved ones in a desperate bid to prepare for a world without the Scarlet Speedster; a world without him.

This has brought a number of enlightening episodes, as Barry teamed with long-time friend Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and the icy other-half of his other long-time friend Caitlin Snow, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) – accompanying them on “solo” missions to prepare them for having to do the same without him. This has also served the rise of this season’s Big Bad villain, Bloodwork, quite well.
On the other hand, he also spent more alone time with his wife Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) as they attempted to make the most of their time together.
However, in this week’s adventure, Barry will set his sights on old friend/former enemy/current ally Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer). That’s right, the aptly titled “License To Elongate” will see the pair end up going on a solo undercover mission together.
