Superhero movies: 25 best superhero movie performances of the decade

22. Letitia Wright as Shuri
Superhero Movies: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame
Black Panther was full of inspiring characters. Especially the women. They weren’t just fighters or brains. They had both. Among those was T’Challa’s youngest sister, Shuri.
Shuri is one of the smartest people in the world. She even made Bruce Banner look foolish. However, when it was time to fight, she put on her gauntlets and fired attack. Without her gauntlets, she was just as deadly. She didn’t lose a step when she came back in Avengers: Endgame. Shuri was one of the women in the front making a hole for Captain Marvel.
The scene where Shuri gave T’Challa his new suit showed us everything we needed to know. Letitia Wright played both the annoying and supportive little sister. Try thinking about that scene without smiling. Or the scene where she stood up during T’Challa’s open challenge and said this was a waste of time. She’s the personification of a little sister.
Most importantly, Shuri was one of the many women who couldn’t help but shine whenever she was on screen. Hopefully we’ll get the comic book version of her when she’s the Black Panther. Ms. Wright has all the talent and skill to pull it off. To show off a Black Panther who relies on technology more than mysticism.
