Supergirl will open this year’s five-part Arrowverse crossover, and here’s how you can watch “Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 1” online.

This Sunday night, Supergirl airs a new episode – but it’s a very special episode. Yes, it will be one that serves as the midseason finale of the Girl of Steel’s show and the opening of the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.

The Arrowverse has spent five years laying the groundwork for a crossover that will undoubtedly make TV history. An event so huge that it will change the face of The CW’s shared universe of superheroes forever. And now it’s almost upon us, as the Crisis has arrived.

For years, we knew that it would impact The Flash but after last season’s Elseworlds crossover, it’s coming for the whole multiverse. And it all kicks off on Supergirl‘s Earth-38.

As the recent Crisis On Infinite Earths trailer revealed, Lyla Michaels (a.k.a. Harbinger) will show up in National City and alert Kara of the imminent threat and, by doing so, will gather the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman on Earth-38 to face the threat together.

They won’t be doing it alone, however, as they will be joined by Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) ’90s Flash (John Wesley Shipp), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Smallville‘s Clark Kent (Tom Welling), Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) and Kingdom Come Superman (Brandon Routh).
