Riverdale’s fourth season reaches its midseason finale in “Chapter Sixty-Six: Tangerine” and here’s how you can watch it online.

This Wednesday night, Riverdale airs its final episode of 2019 on The CW. The show is in the midst of its fourth season, but it will be taking a temporary break for the holidays before returning at the beginning of 2020.

Season 4 of Riverdale has seen the gang move past the madness of The Farm and the Gargoyle King, but that’s easier said than done in a town like Riverdale, and its certainly been a hard-hitting one for all of the town’s characters.

After losing his father Fred, Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) has been desperately trying to follow in Fred’s footsteps by leaving a positive impression on Riverdale. Meanwhile, Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) has been attempting to settle in at a new school Stonewall Prep while Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) has been busy investigating her and Jughead’s half-brother CharlesSmith (Wyatt Nash).

Veronica Lodge/Luna (Camila Mendes) has yet again found herself on the wrong-end of one of her father, Hiram Lodge’s (Mark Consuelos) power-trips and she will stop at nothing to outdo him. And finally, Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) has struggled with the belief that the spirit of her deceased unborn triplet Julian was haunting her.

But the whole season has been building towards the shocking cliffhanger revolving around Jughead’s mysterious death in the future. But the questions remain: Who supposedly killed him and, more importantly, is he really dead?

The trailer for the upcoming midseason finale, “Chapter Sixty-Six: Tangerine”, suggests dark days lie ahead for Betty and her mother Alice Cooper (Madchen Amick) as the latter takes a knife to her daughter.
