Ever wonder what Marvel Cinematic Universe characters would pair best with your favorite NBA teams? Join us now as we match 30 MCU characters with each NBA team.

The NBA is slowly becoming the premier sport in America and its influence reaches to all corners of the world from the game to the players. People all over the globe know the legends like Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal to the current greats like LeBron James and Steph Curry.

Germany, China, and Argentina are just a few of the places that have produced NBA Hall of Fame players. It also crosses over to pop culture and media as well. You’ll see people like Blake Griffin on multiple shows and stand-up and Damian Lillard who has multiple hip hop albums. The NBA’s reach also stretches to the comic book world.

A while ago, (when the Charlotte Bobcats were a team and Kevin Garnett was on the Celtics) ESPN produced a comic book cover for each NBA team. Some of them highlighted the NBA teams. Others focused on specific players. For example, the famous “Spider-Man no more” cover was portrayed by LeBron. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ jersey was in the trash as he walked away in a Miami Heat jersey. A new comic book comparison will be done here now.

This time, we’ll be looking at the NBA teams and connecting them to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Things like current and legendary players, the teams’ past and present records, and championships will be taken into consideration. Let’s get started with one of the greatest dynasties of all time.
