Matching 30 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NBA team

New York Knicks
The New York Knicks then are much different from the Knicks now. Back in the 1990’s they were a rough and rugged team. A feared group of men. Names like Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason used to strike fear in players going to the basket. If you got fouled, you’d know it and be hurting well after the game was over. There was Patrick Ewing who’s among one of the best centers to play in the NBA on both ends of the court. Even their smaller guards were tough. John Starks was fearless. His dunk on the Chicago Bulls is still amazing.
Now, it’s sad to say that the Knicks are a mess and have been for years. Their front office has made some questionable choices for years, the players can’t seem to get it done on the court, and their fans are starting to lose faith. A team that was once revered has become a joke among everyone from fans to analysts. Even die-hard fans are giving up. If it wasn’t for them playing in Madison Square Garden, the Knicks may have been moved to another city.
Hela
Hela came into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and made an immediate impact. She broke Thor’s hammer, sent him and Loki running, and took over Asgard. Hela had no need for weak warriors and didn’t show any mercy in battle. She would have loved the Knicks in the 1990’s.
A guy like Charles Oakley would have been her Executioner, Patrick Ewing would have been one of her generals, and Anthony Mason would have been more than happy to slay her enemies. We could all picture Larry Johnson riding Týr into battle making his arms like a the letter L.
