New Orleans Pelicans
A player like Anthony Davis only comes around once in a lifetime. He’s a guy who can score and defend on a hall of fame level. And he may just be hitting his prime. Davis can score better than Tim Duncan. He’s as smooth as Hakeem Olajuwon and he has a determination to in like LeBron.
It’s sad that the New Orleans Pelicans had to trade him, though it was what was best for Anthony Davis. Zion Williamson going down with an injury early in the year hurt them. It may be too late for them to make the playoffs. Meaning that Zion may sit and start his rookie season next year. The Pelicans will be going through another year of hoping for a good lottery spot in the summer.
Shuri
Just like Anthony Davis, Shuri is a once in a lifetime character. Shuri is among the smartest people in the Marvel Universe who can also physically mix it up with anyone. When Black Panther debuted in theaters, no one knew how popular she’d become. She’s funny, smart, and made science look cool. She created T’Challa’s new armor and is most likely responsible for all the major technological advances in Wakanda.
Anthony Davis and Shuri are just getting started. In the comic books, she’s almost as good of a fighter as T’Challa. At some point we’ll see the two of them spar. Don’t be shocked if she gets the better of her brother.
