Matching 30 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters with each NBA team

Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers. A team that says, “Championship or bust.” And why wouldn’t they? 10 Championships in the last 30 years (16 total), a plethora of players in the Basketball Hall of Fame, and a continued destination spot for star players.
Whenever a player becomes a free agent, the Lakers are a team that will always be brought up. The historic franchise is one thing, but playing for the Lakers also comes with a lot of perks like playing in front of the best in Hollywood and multiple nationally televised games.
As it was mentioned earlier, the Lakers have multiple hall of fame players. Jerry West became the logo of the NBA while he played for the Lakers. Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and James Worthy were kings of L.A. in the 1980’s. Shaq and Kobe brought three straight for the Lakers and Kobe bought two more later. The Lakers signed LeBron last season and traded for Anthony Davis in the off-season. We could be looking at the team that brings them their 17th NBA championship.
Thanos
To some, the Lakers are the original NBA evil empire. They have more NBA Championships than most teams, all the celebrities come to their games, and they always seem to be able to attract the best players. It looks like they have it all on top of the glitz and glam. It looks like everything comes easy to them. It’s just as difficult to be liked when you’re this dominant for so long. Who else could the Lakers be but the Mad Titan Thanos?
You can look at the way the Lakers hunt for titles like Thanos hunting for the Infinity Stones. He went after them as if there was no other option. It was, “Infinity Stones or bust.” You can also look at how dominant the Lakers were and attribute that to Thanos’ reign. For decades, him and his army were unstoppable. It seems like the only team that could really contest them was the one in our final spot.
