Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns had one of the most complete teams in the 1990’s. “Thunder” Dan Majerle, Kevin “K.J.” Johnson, and “Sir” Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley won the MVP that season over a Michael Jordan who was still killing in the NBA. It can be debated that they were the Bulls toughest NBA Finals opponent.

Later, in the early 2000’s, the Suns acquired Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, and Shawn Marion. An exciting and fast paced team. The seven seconds or less style was too much for some of the NBA teams to handle. It was also something the fans loved. It led to a plethora of high scoring games. If not for Robert Horry hockey checking someone (which led to the Phoenix Bench being cleared) the Suns would have made it to the finals and possibly won a title.

The Phoenix Suns need a character who’s fast as their pace in the early 2000’s and as braggadocious as Charles Barkley.

Erik Killmonger

There aren’t many people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that have the combined skill with intelligence that Erik Killmonger does. Some of them have one or the other. Killmonger had both and it showed. His plan to take out T’Challa and rule Wakanda was calculated and precise. He should have actually killed him instead of throwing T’Challa over the waterfall.

There’s a lot of Charles Barkley in Killmonger. Both men say what’s on their mind no matter how flagrant it may be, have strong wills, and were underrated until they made their debut. They’re also both stubborn. Given the option, Barkley would choose death over imprisonment like Killmonger did.
