Compared to its first season, the show did seem to find its footing with audiences and critics alike. There were some notable production changes during the first season, which resulted in a truncated debut season and a disappointing season finale.

Sadly, from the very beginning, comic fans were against Titans the moment the first set photos broke on the Internet and even more so after the first trailer debuted. Audiences were mixed on the mature tone and alterations to some of the characters specifically Raven and Starfire.
