The second season of Titans is over, and season 3 is currently in development. but what changes can be made for the upcoming season?

Back in November, the second season of Titans concluded with its season finale episode, “Nightwing” on DC Universe. Compared to its first season, the show did seem to find its footing with audiences and critics alike. There were some notable production changes during the first season, which resulted in a truncated debut season and a disappointing season finale.

Sadly, from the very beginning, comic fans were against Titans the moment the first set photos broke on the Internet and even more so after the first trailer debuted. Audiences were mixed on the mature tone and alterations to some of the characters specifically Raven and Starfire. These issues were raised to some extent during season premiere and some of the first few episodes of season 2. However, more problems have risen, which need to be addressed in season 3. Some of them are a result of retcons and other elements, such as character development and the flow of the episodic writing week by week.

This piece will break down three main points the creative team at Berlanti Productions may want to address for the next season of Titans. The improvements between season 1 and 2 will also be addressed, and the article will conclude with what should be fixed that has negatively impacted the show. This conclusion will not only concurrently address what the season 2 cliffhanger has set u for the next season but will expound upon what the creative team most likely has planned for Titans season 3.
