In the last ten years, we’ve witnessed some of the best superhero fight scenes of all time, but which superhero movies contained the best scene of the decade?

The past ten years have been a golden age for superhero movies. There was a superhero movie out there for everyone. We’ve seen some of the conventional films like Man of Steel; the beginning of an era with The Avengers; and DeadpoolDeadpool 2 and Logan proved that R-rated superhero movies can be profitable and popular.

This may have led to Joker ushering in a new kind of superhero movie. It killed in the box office and people loved it. With all of these new superhero movies there’s one thing that’s remained constant: There’s always memorable action.

We’ve seen some major advancements in fight sequences over the last decade. For example, how they’re choreographed. Fight scenes don’t always need a bunch of flips to look good. Sometimes the hard-hitting action and creative brutality is enough. That’s not to say acrobatics isn’t appreciated as Black Widow’s move set is still amazing.

Other action scenes are good because of the emotional moments they came from. The first fight between Iron Man and Thor was great because of all the anger and confusion. The ending with Cap intervening was a perfect conclusion. It was also the first time all three of the greatest Avengers were together at once. A memory that will last forever.

Coming up, we have the best 20 superhero fight scenes of the decade. It’s not just the action that makes them worthy. Did they help the characters look good? Did the action flow with the scene? What did it add to the movie? All of this and more will be taken into account.
