10. Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio

Negasonic Teenage Warhead was a surprise addition to the first Deadpool. Previously, her comic book character was nothing like the movie. As we’ve seen before, a popular comic book movie can even influence their comic book counterpart – this happened with her. Negasonic became a smart alec with a ton of power. She was good in the first movie, but she was phenomenal in the second.

Adding her girlfriend Yukio certainly helped, as she had the same effect Colossus did with Wade, bringing out a softer side to a very sarcastic Negasonic.

Negasonic has to come back. She’s definitely more fun than Colossus. The way her and Wade battle is among the best. In addition, we only got a small sample of this universe’s Yukio. She’s obviously versed in her powers, but what else can she do? How powerful is she really? Plus, who doesn’t want to see more of Yukio and Negasonic together? They balance each other out and Negasonic hates that Yukio likes Deadpool. More of this would be stellar.

The big question is do they deserve more screen time? In some ways, having more of them would be great. On the flip side, does adding more of them take away from other potential characters? Do we need more heroes than we already have? Personally, they seem perfect just the way they are.
