Deadpool 3: 11 Characters that should debut or return
By Mark Lynch
4. Shatterstar and Mojo
Mojo played by: Jack Black
You’re probably thinking, “Didn’t he just say Vanessa is going to stay dead? Then how can Shatterstar still be alive?” Easy, Shatterstar is a clone (it involves him being his own father, so let’s just skip it). It wouldn’t take much for Mojo to clone him again. Shatterstar won’t have his memories, but Mojo will more than happy to show him how he died. The idea of dying in such a silly way might infuriate Shatterstar, leaving him to seek revenge on Deadpool.
Bringing Shatterstar back gives us a couple of things. First, Deadpool gets a fight with someone who could be a better fighter than him – a sword fight between the two of them could be legendary. Second, we could get Mojo. Mojo is all about TV ratings and the Merc with a Mouth could be his greatest show. All of the adventures that Deadpool goes on would make him incredibly happy. Wade could be an unknowing Mojo star well into the fourth Deadpool movie. Even if he kills Shatterstar.
This is a two-in-one. We get a journey to another planet and Deadpool making fun of Mojo. Mojo is a disgusting despot that takes pleasure in torturing people – and we all know how Deadpool feels about bullies. He’d happily beat and insult him. And that’s why Shatterstar and Mojo may be the best villain combo for Deadpool 3.
Jack Black would be perfect. He could play a loud and obnoxious character. We’ve seen him do this before. Teaming him with Ryan Reynolds would be a match made in Heaven.
