Last year was quite the experience for comic book fans as a total of seven superhero movies were released, but which of them was the best?

2020 has finally arrived and with it comes a brand new decade. Naturally, this gives us all the opportunity to reflect on everything that last year gifted us with, and for us comic book fans, it allows us to look back on all the major superhero movies of 2019.

To say that 2019 was a major year for superhero movies would be a major understatement. Throughout it, we saw a number of of DC and Marvel’s most iconic heroes make their feature film debuts while the world’s most famous supervillain headlined his own movie – one that few expected to see in the superhero movies genre. Throw in the fact that cinema’s biggest shared universe ended an era with an all-out spectacle and you really do have an unforgettable year on your hands.

That being said, it wasn’t all sweetness, light and critical acclaim as there were a few critical and commercial duds along the day.

With all of that in mind, prepare yourself for a trek through last year’s superhero movies as we rank all of 2019’s offerings from worst to best. We’re in the Endgame now.
