Deathstroke is undoubtedly one of DC Comics’ most popular antiheroes.

The sword-wielding assassin (also known as Slade Wilson) has been causing havoc for the likes of the Teen Titans, Batman, Green Arrow and a ton of other DC heroes and villains for decades now – and he has only gotten more popular as time has gone on.

Thanks to his various appearances in live-action over the past 10 years (where he was portrayed by Manu Bennet in Arrow, Esai Morales in Titans and Joe Manganiello in Justice League), he has gained a whole new following of fans. However, he’s about to headline his very first animated series.

The character’s relationship with The CW is well-documented due to his appearances on Arrow, but it will be taken to the next level now as Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons will debut on CW Seed.

An animated offering that stars Michael Chiklis in the leading role, this R-rated offering will showcase the character in a way we’ve never seen him before, allowing us to see Slade Wilson up close and personal.
