The game-changing Arrowverse crossover Crisis On Infinite Earths came to a close on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow with some shocking results, but who bit the dust?

Crisis On Infinite Earths may have been the culmination of a five-year narrative, but it had no problem making us wait for its own culmination.

Yes, the Arrowverse crossover kicked off on Supergirl back in December, before following that up with installments of Batwoman and The Flash. However, with the story unfinished, all of the Arrowverse shows took their annual leave of absence for the holidays, leaving us hanging in dramatic fashion.

The Crisis has already seen a number of shocking deaths, with Alura Zor-El and all of Argo City, the whole multiverse, The Monitor and even Oliver Queen himself falling to the Anti-Monitor’s antimatter wave.

But when it all came down to a battle between the heroes (along with Oliver’s Spectre) and the villain, who ended up dying in the two-part finale of Crisis On Infinite Earths?

The Anti-Monitor

The Big Bad of the Crisis himself had worked up a shocking death toll when he wiped out the entire multiverse, but he ultimately met his match in the two-part finale, when he lost a battle with Oliver Queen, who had ascended to a new role as The Spectre. He would later return and meet his end again when the Super Friends shrunk him into oblivion.

Oliver Queen

The Green Arrow himself laid down his life for the second time in order to save the multiverse, and that’s exactly what he did: As the Spectre, he gave it all up to defeat the Anti-Monitor and allow life to reborn as a single universe.
