This Sunday night, a new episode of Supergirl will air on The CW. The Girl of Steel returned to our screens during last week’s Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover to assist in saving the multiverse and, being the Paragon of Hope, that’s exactly what she did. However, she’s back for episode 10 of season 5 this Sunday.
To say that the Crisis impacted Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) and her loved ones would be an understatement. Following the destruction of Earth-38 (and the whole darn multiverse), Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) sacrificed himself to rebirth everything and, in the process, changed everything.
Following the reset, Kara’s world had merged with Earth-1, and that means that she and longitme friend Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) now reside on the same earth. A huge change, yes, but perhaps an even bigger one was the fact that Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) is now considered a hero and humanitarian.

In this week’s episode, Kara will attempt to get to the bottom of Lex’s ascension by reminding Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) just how terrible Lex truly was in order to figure out a way to stop him.
Speaking of Lex, he is once again up to his old conniving ways, as he attempts to recruit sister Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) and manipulate her into following him down his dark and twisted path. Or could his lies all be true? Is Lex Luthor a changed man?
