What should we call the Arrowverse after Arrow ends?
It will always be the Arrowverse.

If Smallville defined what a superhero TV show could be for 10 years, Arrow defined what a superhero TV universe could be. No matter what shows come and go, if they have any connection to the new Earth-Prime and the new multiverse, we’ll always refer to them as an Arrowverse show. Oliver gave his life to be the spark that saved several universes, and Stephen Amell and everyone that has helped bring Arrow to life created a new way of telling stories on the small screen.
Amell tweeted that “There’d be no crossover without Tom Welling.” There’s truth to that–the success of Smallville allowed for Arrow‘s development. There also wouldn’t be a crossover without Stephen Amell. Because of how he played Oliver and interacted with characters from The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman, these series flourished, grew, and continue to grow. Just as Smallville‘s Clark Kent has stayed with us for nearly a decade after the show went off the air, Arrow‘s Oliver Queen will be with us for years to come. Long live the Arrowverse.
The Arrow series finale airs next week, Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 9:00 p.m. ET. Do you think we should continue to refer to The CW shows as the Arrowverse? Or is there another name they should go by? Let us know in the comments below.
