DC Universe

Let’s look at last year. First, we had another successful year from DC Universe. Titans rocked. Bringing in Jason Todd as Robin was a smart idea, and this may mean we could see Red Hood in the future. There’s the rise of Nightwing that no one (and everyone) saw coming. It’s currently rated at a 7.9 on Imdb. Considering the criticism the show continuously receives, it’s shocking that it’s well-received. Regardless, it remains a great show, mostly because it gives fans a different look at the DC Universe. Robin being ruthless during fights and saying, “**** Batman,” was something no one saw coming, and they only continued this aggressive tone in season two. The addition of Deathstroke helped bring in viewers as well.

Then we have Harley Quinn, a show that made people (myself included) buy the service create an account. Harley Quinn didn’t disappoint. It’s an incredibly goofy and fun show with a lot of real and cartoon-like violence. And while that’s all fine and well, but the actual story is what keeps it going. The social commentary and dialogue about being true to yourself help keep the show in people’s minds. It’s also just downright hilarious. Who would think that making King Shark an I.T. guy would work? Everything about Harley Quinn works from top to bottom, and we haven’t mentioned how great the voice acting is.
