She-Hulk reportedly set to begin production in July
As the hunt for the lead actress continues, it’s now been reported that Marvel Studios and Disney Plus’ She-Hulk will begin production this summer.
Marvel Studios has Disney Plus projects in various stages of production and, now, It’s been revealed by ComicBookMovie.com that the She-Hulk limited series, helmed by Jessica Gao, should begin production in July.
Casting developments have been largely kept under wraps, but expect some news surrounding cast, particularly for the role of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, to be announced quite soon. Stephanie Beatriz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine has expressed interest in portraying Walters and her green-skinned alter-ego. Marvel’s Kevin Feige stated at the CCXP convention in Sao Paulo, Brazil that She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel should wrap filming towards the end of 2020.
Recently, Beau DeMayo – the scribe behind the TV adaptation of The Witcher – joined the writing staff of Disney Plus’ Moon Knight. It’s not clear whether She-Hulk may follow suit in expanding the writers’ room, nor how many episodes Marvel has ordered for the series. But it could possibly be no more than eight episodes similar to Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian.

What is interesting to note is the untitled third installment of the Spider-Man film series is set to be filmed in July, with Jon Watts returning to direct. Is there a possibility of She-Hulk connecting with that film?
Expect a multitude of series directors to be announced for the latter four limited series that received a series order aside from She-Hulk, which means pre-production for these projects is not far from being underway. Not much is known about the plot except that it will center on Jennifer Walters, who receives a gamma–infused blood transfusion, resulting in her transformation into She-Hulk.
