2. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. is Marvel TV’s longest running show. And with good reason.

First off, the show takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as things were happening. Even though they are connected to the movies, the show kept things separate enough for those who may not make it out to the movies. It was a perfect balance.

The best part of the show is the cast. Agent Coulson has remained a popular favorite since he first debuted in Iron Man. Everyone was excited whenever Melinda May was on screen. What started as her being tough and emotionless turned into a character with a dark and deep past. Daisy continued to evolve as well as we got a chance to see a star grow brighter as the series progressed.

The relationship between Fitz and Simmons took us on a roller-coaster of emotions. There were also characters like Daisy’s father Calvin Zabo (who’s performance is completely underrated) and Roberto Reyes (Ghost Rider) who both had show stealing moments.

Sometimes, the story may have been lacking, but the cast kept fans invested. We tuned in every week to see the people we loved. This is why when someone died, left the show, or broke up with each other, we took it hard.
