Marvel TV: Ranking all 13 Marvel Television shows from worst to best

9. Luke Cage
Luke Cage became a popular character after Brian Michael Bendis started writing him back in the early 2000’s. This popularity led to him becoming the lead in a show. While I had doubts that Michael Colter would do a good job, he proved to be an exceptional Luke Cage. Adding Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth and Simone Missick as Misty Knight fit perfectly. Luke Cage is another one of the shows on Netflix that had a lot of potential, they just couldn’t put all the pieces together.
In season one, everything was good until Cottonmouth was killed. After that, things progressively got worse. The story of Luke Cage and Willis Stryker was bad and bland, and their final fight scene was worse than their chemistry.
The next season was good, but something about the bits and pieces of the season seemed off. Like there was something missing or put out of order. Then there was the ending. Making Luke Cage the kingpin of Harlem took away from everything he was. It didn’t help that the series ended before we could get a resolution to that storyline.
What’s most disappointing is that all of the pieces were there and good. The show had funny moments, parts that made your heart hurt, and some good action. They just couldn’t connect it everything coherently.
