Marvel TV: Ranking all 13 Marvel Television shows from worst to best

8. The Defenders
The Defenders was kind of like The Avengers. The Defenders added all of the Marvel Netflix heroes and put them in one show for one common cause. Their mission was to stop the Hand. Since this worked on the big screen with The Avengers, there’s no reason this shouldn’t have worked with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and even Iron Fist.
Fast forward to the show and it starts off great. They also solved the lull problem by only making it eight episodes, a big complaint that fans had binging the other Marvel Netflix show.
Everything about The Defenders worked. Looking back, it gave everyone what they wanted. All of the characters shined and kept what we loved from their respective show. Iron Fist had a terrific outing as well. He was funny and he worked well with everyone. Finn Jones was a million times better here than he was on either of his seasons (further proving it wasn’t his fault).
The only negative was the way they connected Iron Fist to their final plan. It was weirdly put together. All he had to do was punch the wall and that was it. Almost as if they threw this together and hoped that the moment was so small that no one would notice. We noticed. Everything else on the show was good. Especially the actions scenes. Go back and watch Defenders again. You’ll enjoy it more the second time around.
