Which superhero role can Jennifer Aniston still play?
Emma Frost
Sticking with the X-Men characters, Emma Frost is another great contender for Jennifer Aniston to play. She’s another character that has a conflicted past and gives Aniston some material to work with. While you could easily slot this character in for a smaller role in a movie, the best bet is to, once again, look at a Disney Plus show.
A series would allow for Aniston to play both a villain in flashbacks and a hero in the present day. The past could look at her time as part of the Hellfire Club, while the present would focus on her time as a teacher and headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy, training the next class of mutants, Generation X.
While we haven’t seen a Marvel series on the service yet, Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian was some of the best storytelling seen in recent years. If this theoretical Generation X show is half as good and each season is made up of 8-10 hours that is part Arrowverse and part Hogwarts with an MCU filter, it’s bound for success.
Students could graduate and move on to an X-Men movie or spin-off into their own show. All with Jennifer Aniston as the face of the school/show. Once again, with everything now being connected in the TV/film world of Marvel, it gives Aniston the zone she may be the most comfortable in while allowing her to appear in other X-Men movies.
