This Wednesday night, Riverdale will return to The CW for a new episode. But it won’t just be any episode as this one will be a special crossover with the show’s upcoming spin-off series Katy Keene (which can watch the trailer for here). That’s right, this week’s episode will star Katy Keene herself, as Lucy Hale will indeed make a guest appearance in it.
The character will be introduced when Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) makes her way to New York City and crosses paths with her old friend. In a way, this will help launch the show as the series premiere airs the following night.
In recent weeks, Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) has discovered that he has a long-lost uncle, but with the town telling him not to trust his estranged relative, he’s begun to suspect that Uncle Frank (Ryan Robbins) isn’t being completely honest with him.

Meanwhile, Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) and his intrepid reporter girlfriend Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) have been attempting to figure out what the former’s unnerving classmate Bret Weston Wallis (Sean Depner) is really up to. And although they’ve been unable to get the better of him, Jug will attempt to do that in a duel in this week’s offering “Chapter Sixty-Nine: Men Of Honor”.
But with Jughead’s apparent demise looming, and flash-forwards teasing a shocking possible affair storyline, is there another twist in store for us on Riverdale?
