Legends of Tomorrow returns with the third episode of its fifth season, and here’s how you can watch “Slay Anything” online.
This Tuesday night, a new episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air on The CW. The long-running Arrowverse show returned to screens following its comeback for Crisis On Infinite Earths and its fifth season rolls on this week.
Season 5 has been quite heavily influenced by the events of the Crisis, as characters like Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) – both of whom got their starts on Arrow – have been hurting following Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) sacrifice.
However, when the show wasn’t focusing on the major Arrowverse crossover, it set its sights on this season’s new story, which follows the return of some of the world’s darkest souls as John Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) former friend Astra Logue (Olivia Swann) released their souls from Hell and gave them a second chance to cause destruction all throughout time.

The Legends have already come face-to-face with these so-called Encores, battling Rasputin in their first non-Crisis adventure and Benjamin ‘Bugsy’ Siegel in a classic noir-tale that was an instant reminder of why so many people love Legends‘ unique brand of heroics.
Constantine may have toyed with the idea of killing Astra and ending this madness, but as he felt responsible for her metamorphosis – he was the one who accidentally damned Astra to Hell all those years ago – he decided against it and made the decision to attempt to save her from the darkness instead.
