Supergirl returns to The CW with the twelfth episode of its fifth season, and here’s how you can watch “Back From the Future – Part Two” online.

This Sunday night, Supergirl returns to The CW for a new episode. Following its midseason hiatus, the veteran Arrowverse series briefly returned to the network for two episodes before taking another short break. But it will now return tonight with the twelfth episode of the season.

Recently, the show has focused on how life has been changed after Crisis On Infinite Earths, with the past two episodes highlighting how Supergirl now takes place on Earth-Prime – the same earth as her fellow Arrowverse shows Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman. Moreover, they’ve showcased the biggest change of them all: Lex Luthor’s (Jon Cryer) return to power as the Superman villain now commands as much of it as he pleases and is even in charge of the DEO.

Aside from that, they’ve also featured the return of Kara Danvers’ (Melissa Benoist) best friend Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) – who showed up in a desperate bid to protect his own future following Lex’s interference. And even though he helped take down his own evil doppelganger, it’s clear from the title of this episode, “Back From the Future – Part Two”, that Winn’s return to the present isn’t over quite yet.
