Why is Owen Wilson so perfect for the role?

While Justice Peace is a tough guy and can be extremely no-nonsense, he’s essentially a parody of Judge Dredd and, as such, would ideally be played by a comedic actor.

With movies like Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Night at the Museum and The Internship on his acting résumé, Wilson is certainly proficient as far as comedic acting is concerned – but he also proved he can do action in movies like Starsky & Hutch and, perhaps more pertinently, No Escape.

But what truly makes him ideal for the role of Justice Peace is how brilliantly he’ll bounce off Tom Hiddleston’s Loki.

Wilson possesses a level of easygoing charm that very few other Hollywood stars do – he’s so laid-back that he’s virtually horizontal – and having that carefree personality opposite the ice-cold God of Mischief would be simply fantastic to see on screen. He’d essentially push Loki’s buttons good and proper!

As we touched upon on the previous page, there’s also huge potential for Justice Peace to have an expanded role in the MCU going forward, assuming Wilson was to prove popular as the character (which we’re sure he would) – and that would be nice to see.

Next. We still have questions after Disney Plus’ MCU teaser. dark

Wilson’s depression seems to be a thing of the past, and it’s pleasing to see the likable star flourish once more. A role in one of the world’s most popular franchises would only see that flourishing continue.

Here’s hoping we find out who Wilson’s playing soon (and here’s hoping it is indeed Justice Peace)! Loki is slated to arrive on Disney Plus in early 2021.
