6. Shawn Michaels

You can call him the Heartbreak Kid, the Show Stopper, or Mr. WrestleMania. Either way you, Shawn Michaels is one of the best performers in all of wrestling.

He’s in a category of wrestlers who balances charisma and wrestling at a 10 in every match. Put him up against anyone and it was going to be amazing. It’s like every one of his matches and feuds were classic. Before his back surgery, he was one of the greats. He came back years later and he may have gotten better. Not a lot of wrestlers can boast this.

Gambit

Gambit came into the world and everyone embraced him. It didn’t matter if it was fans who enjoyed the comic books or the 1990’s animated series. Everyone enjoyed the Rajun Cajun. It’s like HBK and Gambit became popular around the same time.

One thing they have in common is that they weren’t always on the side of good. Gambit used to be a womanizing thief. HBK was known as the womanizing jerk (his name is Heartbreak Kid. No one is shocked). As time went on, they both became heroes. For HBK, he became a face and a guy people loved because he was a good guy. Not just because he was with DX.

What’s funny is that they’ve both calmed down in their later years. Gambit is with Rogue and HBK is…well, he’s still the Showstopper. He’s just not as wild.
