28. CM Punk
CM Punk was wrestling’s most outspoken performer. It wasn’t just the promos about how he was going to beat his opponents. Punk always said what was on his mind. Take the infamous promo he cut on Raw years ago. He sat on the ramp and told the world how he felt. Some of the things he said were considered a no-no in the WWE. However, he said them anyway. The best part about him is he backs up all the trash he talks.
CM Punk had a reign as WWE Champion that some people won’t even come close to. He held the title for over a year (434 days). If they didn’t tap out to one of his many submissions, he knocked his opponents out with his finisher the G.T.S. (Go To Sleep) or he cheated. Hey, a win is a win.
Wolverine
CM Punk loves to tell people that he’s the best in the world, while Wolverine loves to say, “I’m the best there is at what I do and what I do isn’t very nice.” Both men have confidence in themselves because they’ve proven how good they are.
Wolverine and CM Punk have beaten people bigger, stronger, smaller, and faster than themselves. Their ability to strategically take their opponents apart is the reason why they’re not to be taken lightly. When they lose, they just come back better than before and win. Proving that it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. It’s a cliché phrase, but it’s true.
