Riverdale made everyone uncomfortable as Jughead and Betty got the truth in the latest episode.

Riverdale has spent the majority of its fourth season leaving fans perplexed, confused and outraged. In fact, when you think about it, that’s essentially what the show does every season. However, this time, it’s been that much more illusive.

A season built upon secrets, sex, lies, videotapes, mysteries and murder, it has teased viewers with a series of elaborate flash-forward scenes in order to make it appear that long-standing beloved character Jughead Jones had been killed by his girlfriend Betty Cooper. In spite of fans’ strong belief in the characters involved, the show kept them second-guessing themselves. Well, it did until last week.

That’s right, the previous installment revealed that Jughead was still alive and that Betty, Archie Andrews and Veronica Lodge concocted a clever scheme in order to make the conniving students of Stonewall Prep think that they were successful in their bid to kill him… while also making them sweat the same time.

In this week’s episode, however, Jughead officially returned from the dead, announcing his presence to the class and Mr. DuPont as he and Betty showed up, locking all of them in the classroom in order to get to the truth. And yes, it’s as shocking as it sounds.

With that in mind, here are the most WTF moments from “Chapter Seventy-Three: The Locked Room”.
