5. Jughead Returns To Stonewall Prep

Say what you will, but there was nothing more satisfying about this episode than the look on Donna, Brett and the rest of the Stonewall Prep crew’s faces when Jughead made his triumphant return to school – and essentially from the dead.

Granted, it was a little shocking to see him show up so soon, considering Betty had been keeping up appearances with Archie, but it was great to see our beloved teen detective show up with more class and dignity (and style) than those conniving monsters could ever hope to have.

4. Betty & Jughead Reveal The Truth About What Happened That Night

After locking everyone in Mr. Chipping’s old classroom, Betty and Jughead proceeded to unravel the mystery behind Stonewall Prep, the Baxter Brothers and whole nefarious scheme like the detectives that they are. They started, however, by revealing what went down in the woods on that infamous night.

It turns out that the Stonewall Prep students did attempt to kill Jughead, as Joan actually struck him with a rock. Their mistake, however, was not confirming that he was dead. In an unexpected turn of events, Betty, Archie and Veronica managed to revive him. But Jug didn’t want a hospital… instead, he was taken by Charles and FBI medics to be treated and cared for while Betty, Archie and Veronica plotted to bring down Stonewall Prep (while also making emergency backup plans should Jughead not make it).

Thankfully, Jughead was alive this whole time.
