4. Tim Drake

Tim Drake is the closest thing to Batman in terms of intelligence and detective skills. A good example of this is when he found out who Batman was. He wasn’t even old enough to get a driver’s license and yet he still managed to figured out the biggest riddle in Gotham City.

On top of that, Batman saw his potential early. Drake may not have the fighting ability of the other members of the Bat-Family, but he makes up for it with his ability to think and create. The inventions he created in Detective Comics Rebirth are a prime example of this, as he built a training room for his team to use like it was nothing.

Sam Winchester and Tim Drake would undoubtedly nerd out over their ideas. The things that Tim could show Sam would blow his mind, and Sam could teach him a few things as well. The knowledge he possesses would definitely come in handy. After all, Tim and the rest of the heroes fight supernatural beings as well. Sam may never have to leave their base ever again, as he could organize attacks, search lore, and provide any information that hunters in the field may need.

Dean wouldn’t have as much fun with him. I picture Sam and Tim having a bunch of random inside tech jokes that Dean just wouldn’t get. Dean may even get a little jealous of their relationship. However, the next DC Comics character would fit with Dean perfectly.
