This Sunday, a new episode of Batwoman airs on The CW. The show has been airing new episodes on the network each week, and now it returns for another one.
It’s been a harrowing year for Gotham City’s Kane family. Following years of uncertainty and fears of the worst, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) made a comeback to the city to stop an evil menace known as Alice (Rachel Skarsten), but in doing so, she realized that the villain was actually her twin sister Beth – the person she had spent years mourning the loss of.
Though Kate found a mechanism of coping with her stress and anger over what her sister had become by being Batwoman, Alice was driven by rage and lashed out at those she felt abandoned her all those years ago.

A web of lies and vengeance soon spiraled out of control as Alice killed her father’s new wife Catherine Hamilton-Kane (Elizabeth Anweis) and, in the process, framed Jacob (Dougray Scott).
However, while Jacob swore revenge on the daughter that he no longer knew, things are never that black-and-white whenever family is involved, so Batwoman took a lot more twists and turns as it went on.
