9. Dr. Psycho

Voiced by: Tony Hale

Admittedly, other than having psionic powers, I didn’t know anything about Dr. Psycho going in. It was a treat going in blind. That said, this was more surprising than I thought. Dr. Psycho was so random. Sometimes he seemed to care and other times he was all about saving himself. He could be a powerful and narcissistic villain and then cower the very next moment. It made him very unpredictable. That unpredictability made him an amazing addition to the show and Harley Quinn’s gang.

As time went on, Dr. Psycho grew as a character. Thankfully, not too much. Having him evolve into a much better person would take away from who he was. His excessive use of the C-Word is a good example. Consider all the things we’ve seen and heard on the show and Dr. Psycho is the only person who gets censored. That’s how crude he is. It was amazing when he realized how bad his language was.

Tony Hale captured Dr. Psycho’s arrogance. A flawless casting, he made him sound like an odious scum no matter what he said. It was very much like Mentok the Mind Taker from Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. You knew he was powerful, but he was also a jerk with a little person complex and a fetish for big women.
