The DC Universe streaming service will be getting a few old favorites and some new original programming for your viewing pleasure in April.

With everything happening in the world right now, it seems like the perfect time for good old-fashioned escapism. And for you comic book fans, DC Universe has a ton of new additions arriving in April. These new additions consist of both new original programming and old classics – all for your viewing pleasure.

The second season of the critically-acclaimed animated series Harley Quinn will kick things off this month when the premiere arrives on Friday April 3.

The first season of the mature animated offering debuted last November and became an instant sensation with fans and critics – all of whom applauded its unique in-your-face comedic approach and reckless abandon in just about everything. And even though it only came to an end in February, DC Universe is wasting absolutely no time when it comes to launching the second offering.

But it’s not just great original programming that the service will be providing as legendary Tim Burton films Batman and Batman Returns will both arrive on the DC Universe as well.

Released in 1989, Batman starred Michael Keaton in the titular role while Jack Nicholson brought The Joker to life. Known for its noir elements and gritty approach to the source material, it reinvigorated the comic book film genre and paved the way for many of today’s modern superhero movies.

Batman Returns is that film’s sequel and it hit theaters in 1992, as Keaton returned as the Dark Knight to take on Danny DeVito’s Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman.

Joining those will also be a horde of DC animated films, such as Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, Green Lantern: First Flight, Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Justice League: War, Justice League: Doom, Justice League: The New Frontier, Justice League: Throne of AtlantisJustice League vs. Teen Titans.
