Hush

More from Bam Smack Pow

Hardcore Batman fans have been dying to see Hush adapted to the big screen for years, as the arc is hailed as one of the very best storylines in the history of the character.

DC recently produced an animated version of the tale, but made several changes to the original material in order for the story to fit the current DC Animated Universe. If there ever was a time to adapt this story in its original entirety, it is with this new live action reboot.

For those not familiar with the story, it focuses on Batman as he’s surrounded by a cavalcade of villains – including the likes of The Riddler, Joker, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn – as dark memories from his past surface to affect his future. In a story filled with as many twists as there are turns, the center of this master plot is a mysterious man with a head full of bandages.

This is also one of the first stories to fully embrace Batman’s romance with Catwoman, the same romance that eventually became a staple of the lore between both characters. Assuming that the new movie franchise is going to heavily focus on this relationship moving forward, no better source material to start with than this.
