The CW has revealed the return dates of shows in the Arrowverse like The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow to EW.

Entertainment Weekly has revealed the dates of many of The CW shows, including Arrowverse hits The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and Supergirl and other comic book properties Riverdale and Katy Keene.

Both The Flash and Legends are set to return with new episodes on Tuesday, April 21, wheras Batwoman come back over the following weekend on Sunday, April 26. Supergirl however has been delayed further until Sunday, May 3.

Due to the novel coronavirus, a lot of productions in the entertainment industry had come to a halt. Dates of upcoming films within the MCU and DCEU such as Black Widow and Wonder Woman 1984 have been pushed back. The CW and other networks have experienced reshuffling in their programming including The Flash and Legends because production on all Arrowverse shows was suspended.

As discussed previously The Flash will air the season finale of its current sixth season later on during the year once production resumes. Legends, since all episodes have wrapped during the start of this year, will remain unaffected.

Not included in the announcement from EW is, of course, Supernatural – which is airing its last season – and Legacies that is currently airing season 2. Both shows were not able to complete their respective final episodes due to the COVID-19 outbreak and have reached the last set of episodes on the air that the production staff at Warner Bros. Television shot before the lockdown.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, the immediate future and status of the Supergirl series has reached uncertainty due to the fact that it was hoping to have a few season 6 episodes filmed before its annual summer break since leading lady Melissa Benoist will be taking an extended hiatus due to her recently announced pregnancy. However, with production being shut down early, its unknown when it (and, for that matter, the other shows) will resume.
