DC Universe’s Titans: 5 actresses who could play Barbara Gordon

If the DC Universe does indeed opt to cast an actress that looks like Barbara Gordon straight from the comics, there’s arguably no actress fans would like to see more than Rose Leslie. The former Downtown Abbey actress looks the part, and thanks to her previous roles in both film and television, she’d garner major support. Leslie currently stars in the critically-acclaimed law drama The Good Fight as the young lawyer looking to regain her reputation after falling victim to a financial scandal.

Leslie also showed off her range in the horror Honeymoon where she played newlywed Bea. Her character displays a disturbing behavior pattern that leads to something neither she nor her husband expected. Furthermore, in 2015’s The Last Witch Hunter, she stole every scene she was in as the owner of a bar, Chloe, who also happens to be a witch.

However, for most, Leslie will forever be remembered as the bow-wielding tough as nails Wildling, Ygritte from HBO’s Game of Thrones.

One look at Leslie’s resume and it’s clear this star is ideal for Barbara Gordon. It’s no wonder that she’s been multiple fans’ ideal casting choice for the role for a number of years. Let’s see if the DC Universe has her on their radar. It’s about time Leslie gets a role in a comic book film or movie… Why not Titans?
