19. The Will (Saga)
Saga is one of the deepest comic books you’ll ever read. It’s full of things that will hit all of your emotions. Going into the series, this wasn’t what I expected. However, it was a pleasant surprise. All of the characters have layers to them. That includes a mercenary by the name of The Will (you have to say “The”).
The Will is skilled, stronger than the normal human, and has this extendo-lance that can pierce a person’s body from a distance. He would definitely take the bounty. For nothing else than the fact he could finally retire. It’s a lot of money.
The Will wins 4 out of 10 fights
The Will is a versed fighter, but he’s not on the level of John Wick. We’ve seen The Will lose some fights that he should have dominated. For whatever reason, he loses. Some of it has to do with him being tricked. Other times it’s because The Will doesn’t seem too bright.
John Wick isn’t dumb – he knows how to take advantage of a weakness and The Will has plenty. The Will’s trump card is his lance. If he can keep the fight at a distance, he can win this confrontation. Con to this, however, is that this trick will only work so many times.
