Captain Marvel is returning for another film, so here’s why these two villains would be perfect for her next adventures.

Captain Marvel is the most powerful Avenger. She’s only appeared in two Marvel Studios movies thus far and she’s been beyond impressive. Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America took on Thanos together and couldn’t handle him. Meanwhile, Captain Marvel took everything Thanos had. If it wasn’t for the infinity Stones, she could have beaten him by herself.

This doesn’t scratch the surface of what she’s capable of. It’s wonderful seeing that Marvel Studios has made her so strong. The only problem here, however, is where they go next.

Having someone so strong makes it difficult to find a worthy adversary. There are some great villains out there, but Thanos is one of the two or three strongest. Captain Marvel is going to need an antagonist that’s worthy of her physically and mentally. This person can’t be some random goon like Paste Pot Pete. It has to be someone memorable and interesting. Thankfully, writer Kelly Thompson has written two villains that can be everything we need on the big screen.

In 2019, Thompson took over as writer of Captain Marvel. During this time, she wrote two villains that fit the role of villain for Carol Danvers. Both of them represent everything that the characters isn’t. These villains worked great in the comic books and they’d look fantastic on the big screen.
