A Legend shockingly dies in the Legends of Tomorrow season 5 return
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 5 caught us all off-guard with a jaw-dropping death that none of us saw coming.
Following a lengthy hiatus, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returned to The CW this week with an episode that wasted no time reminding us just how crazy the show could be when it wants to be.
With a trip to find the missing pieces of the Loom of Fate resulting in an unplanned visit to the Supernatural set, the Legends were cornered by one of Charlie’s vengeful sisters, who would stop at nothing to retrieve the pieces and put the Loom back together.
The unearthly being exacted pleasure in killing all of Charlie’s former bandmates, almost killed John Constantine and essentially killed Sara Lance – who was somehow immune to her powers. However, there was one Legend that wasn’t able to do that.

In the episode’s shocking culmination, Charlie’s sister found her way onto the Waverider and came face to face with Behrad Tarazi – who was monitoring Zari as she met her other self inside the totem (yeah, Legends is weird like that). And even though the good-hearted hero let her take what she came for, he attempted to wrest it away from her only for her to literally pull a chord from his chest – unwinding his own fate and seemingly killing him then and there.
Of course, Zari was distraught to learn that her brother had been killed, and this proved to be the motivation she had been looking for to turn her into the hero that she once was.
It was a genuinely shocking moment to see Behrad killed so suddenly, but let’s just hope that Zari will be able to use the Loom of Fate to bring him back to life when the team defeats the other sisters once and for all.
