Mystique

Mystique is a self-centered mutant. Whenever you think she’s done something good, you realize she did it selfishly. Her need to help mutants is also selfish, she couldn’t care less about the survival of the race. She only cares about the ones she loves.

A good example is her relationship with Rogue. She once tried to have sex with Gambit to prove he was a bad match for Rogue. No part of that sounds like someone you’d want to be stuck with. Mystique would spend all of her time playing head games for her own amusement. She’d shape-shift into random loved ones to torment you. She may also kill you if you’re not a mutant.

In this case, the movie character is better than the comic book.

Verdict: Scary quarantine buddy

Multiple Man

Jamie Madrox is a sleeper on this list. Having the Multiple Man around means that you’d never be lonely. Each of Madrox ’s duplicates are a different part of his personality. There’s a chef, romantic, and maybe a magician in his body. It would be fun having him around. Until it’s not.

Jamie can’t control which personality comes out when he creates them. He once got drunk, bumped into a wall, and it created his libido. He may bump into something and bring out his murderous side. While this could be adventurous, it could also be a very bad idea.

Verdict: Good and bad quarantine buddy
