This Sunday, a new episode of Batwoman season 1 airs on The CW. The new Arrowverse series is back for the final few episodes of the season.
Batwoman arrived on the scene in the final quarter of last year. The show focuses on the ascension of Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) as she steps up in the absence of Batman in order to protect Gotham City.
Things have gotten much more complicated over the course of the season, as Kate has since realized that the villain she’s been protecting Gotham from as Batwoman is actually her own sister, Alice/Beth (Rachel Skarsten).

In recent weeks, Kate has seemingly bonded with her villainous sister, but the dynamic between the two and their father Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) has been ever-changing, and with the former committing her sister to Arkham, things have taken some unsuspecting turns.
While Kate found herself having to overcome some of her own internal demons in recent weeks, the rest of the heroes in Gotham – Luke Fox (Camrus Johnson), Sophie Moore (Meagan Tandy) and the rest of the Crows – stepped up in Batwoman’s temporary absence.
The season has been shortened due to the fact that the show was forced to shut down production in Vancouver amid the coronavirus pandemic, but it will air as many completed episodes as possible.
