This Wednesday, a new episode of Riverdale season 4 airs on The CW. The show recently returned from a lengthy hiatus and now it’s back for one more installment.
The show’s fourth season has been a myriad of jaw-dropping twists and turns, some of which received praise from fans while others received criticism. Nonetheless, it all comes to an unexpected end this week.
The upcoming nineteenth episode of the season, “Chapter Seventy-Six: Killing Mr. Honey”, will serve as an impromptu finale for season 4. The season was supposed to contain 22 episodes like the previous two but unfortunately that did not happen.

The recent (and understandable) shutting down of production in Vancouver as a response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus resulted in Riverdale and countless other television shows being left with no other choice than to air the remaining finished episodes.
Mr. Honey has been a thorn in the sides of Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) and Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) all year, but will he meet an untimely end in this week’s finale? Or is this episode – which is directed by Alice Cooper herself, Mädchen Amick – just a reference to Jug’s new mystery novel?
