4. Sabretooth

This was easily the biggest decade of Sabretooth’s life. Unlike the previous years, Victor Creed wasn’t just a goon for hire.

Though he did spend a lot of time tormenting Wolverine, this time was different. He was a lot more calculated.  At one point, he did it to gain power. Wolverine accidentally helped him become the head of the Japanese underground. While doing that, he caused Logan’s girlfriend to break up with him. It was a two-for-one.

A couple of years later, Sabretooth was in the series AXIS. Here, he was among the heroes that switched from being heroes and villains. After most of the characters switched back, Sabretooth was among the ones who stayed reversed. During that time, Sabretooth was an Avenger and an X-Man. He essentially became Wolverine. He even ran a ragtag team he called Weapon-X.

Now, Victor Creed is back to normal. Killing people and being a jerk. Going back to his old ways has made him the first mutant to be exiled from Krakoa. No one should be shocked by this or what’s going to be said next: Sabretooth won’t be exiled forever. He’ll escape or be freed within a year… probably by Mystique (who’s also on the Quiet Council of Krakoa). Their relationship is weird to say the least.
