The Flash’s sixth season is coming to an abrupt end, but unfortunately all of the season’s storylines won’t be wrapped up.

The end is nigh for The Flash season 6. And it’s not going to be the ending that any of us – least of all the writers – were expecting.

The veteran Arrowverse series has been thrilling its fans for another enjoyable run. This time, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the rest of the team at S.T.A.R. Labs have been facing off against three immeasurable threats – thanks in no small part to new showrunner Eric Wallace’s refreshing new format (in which the season was split into two smaller mini-seasons/graphic novels).

Team Flash spent the first half of the season attempting to take down Caitlin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) old friend, Dr. Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy) – who became the villainous Bloodwork. Following that, a decade of foreshadowing became a reality when they were forced to deal with Crisis On Infinite Earths. And now, in a post-Crisis world, Team Flash have found themselves facing off against Black Hole and a very new Mirror Master in Eva McCulloch (Efrat Dor).

With production on the season shutting down prematurely due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the nineteenth episode is now the finale. And due to that unexpected occurrence, there are season-long questions that “Success Is Assured” unfortunately won’t be able to answer.

As a result, the resulting cliffhanger won’t be the one that was originally intended to close out the season, and a number of storylines will have to carry over into season 7. With that in mind, let’s have a look at some of the things that probably won’t get wrapped up.
