3 reasons why Keanu Reeves is fit to wear the Moon Knight cowl

1. A star like Reeves would be a huge draw

While talent obviously has a large part to play in securing roles, one thing that can also help is your name. And Reeves’ name is undoubtedly one of the biggest in Hollywood. In recent years, he has made such an impact with his comeback role as John Wick that it he is once again considered one of the most talked about and popular leads in the business. It makes sense… because he’s a major draw. With that in mind, it’s understandable why every fan of Keanu’s – and a portion of the MCU fans – would love to see him join Moon Knight.  With that in mind, it seems like a great time to give the fans what they want.

Reeves has been linked to the MCU for a long time. Many thought he might portray Adam Warlock at one point in time, but things have changed so much since since then that it’s hard to know what’s happening anymore. However, according to rumor shared by GWW’s chief editor-in-chief KC Walsh, which was then reported by comicbookmovie.com, Reeves could be a favorite to play Moon Knight.

I’m not crazy and I don’t think Marc Spector is either, but I do think it would be crazy for Marvel and Disney to pass up an opportunity like Keanu Reeves. His presence would elevate the brand and bring in a whole new group of viewers to the Disney Plus platform.

Of course, if they were to cast him, they would need to take into account his production schedule. The follow up to the Matrix trilogy, Matrix 4, is set to start filming at the end of this year which is around the same time Moon Knight is expected to begin production. That said, with everything happening right now, it might be smart to wait on a prospect like Keanu Reeves instead of pushing through with a timeline that is constantly changing.

As a fan and a critical thinker, Reeves could be the MCU’s biggest asset since Robert Downey Jr. took the guise of Iron Man 12 years ago. These are all the reasons that make the legendary Keanu Reeves fit for the mantle and the cowl of Moon Knight.
