10 comic book characters who deserve a Last Dance documentary
By Mark Lynch
1. Loki: Prince of Two Worlds
Loki’s life has been awful since the day he was born. Due to his size, his father Laufey discarded him as weak. He was adopted by Odin and raised as an Asgardian God.
Loki didn’t feel like he was treated equally. There have been stories that say he was bullied by Thor, Sif, and Balder growing up (Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers). Whether they’re true or lies Loki has told himself remains to be seen. Regardless of what happened, Loki has made it a point to try and destroy Thor and everything he holds dear. Recently, Loki has become King of Jotunheim (The War of the Realms) and was no longer trying to kill his brother. We all know that won’t last, but at least he has some peace now.
Everyone loves Loki as a comic book character and Tom Hiddleston’s big-screen version in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most popular film characters of our generation. If there was ever a documentary about him, people would rush to see it.
The testimonies of his brother would tell a tale that Loki would deny. Loki disputing all of his brother’s claims would be worth the watch alone. The doc would also get into how he’s the reason the Avengers were created, how he escaped being trapped in Hel after being killed by Sentry (Siege), and his best tricks. For example, he turned Thor into a frog. Who wouldn’t want to see the God of Mischief telling his side of the story? I’m definitely all in.
