This week, Stargirl premieres a new episode. The new DC Universe show debuted on both the streaming service and The CW last week. Now, it’s back with another episode.
Stargirl follows the adventures of Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger). The young girl moves to Nebraska with her family and inherits the legacy of the Justice Society of America’s Starman. In the process, she becomes the hero known as Stargirl.
The show is produced by Geoff Johns. It debuted on DC Universe last Monday and aired on The CW the following day. It received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics.

The pilot episode charted Courtney’s move to Nebraska and how her animosity toward her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) led to her discovering that he used to be Starman’s sidekick Stripesy.
After coming face to face with villain Brainwave (Christopher James Barker), she realized the dangers that possessing the Cosmic Staff entails. But with the arrival of Pat’s giant robot, it seems that the adventures of Stargirl are just beginning.

As Stargirl is a DC Universe-exclusive series, the upcoming episode can only be viewed on the paid subscription service itself (the DC Universe) in the U.S. or The CW the night after its streaming debut.
